Crash test recumbent demo bike coming soon

We have recently purchased a used recumbent to used as a demo/learner bike for those wishing to try out recumbent riding. We always keep a recumbent bike and trike in stock as a demo models but decided we needed a ‘beater’ bike for complete newbies to learn on without the worry of causing too much damage. We should have this bike at the shop and ready for use within a week or two. If you have always fancied learning to ride a recumbent then now’s your chance. Please get in touch to arrange a test ride.

We are pleased to announce that we have recently signed up to proved the ‘Bikefitting.com’ measuring system. This will enable us to take measure you up for a new bike or to get you set up on your existing bike. More details to follow soon.

We have had a few delays getting the equipment but have been assured that it will be landing with us any day now. We would like to thank our customers that are patiently waiting for this to arrive and will let you all know just as soon as we have the equipment here and set up.

Velo Club

At the beginning of the year we started the ‘Velo Club’ in association with Bromley Cyclists. This club is aimed at the sporty rider that wants to increase fitness and ride in a club atmosphere without having to join a serious cycling club. That being said, we are serious about our cycling and fitness, we prefer to keep things social too and don’t insist on everyone wearing full lycra.

We have a regular Saturday morning ride starting at the shop at 0830, heading out into the lanes and countryside for a 50k ride ending at one of the local cafe’s, for a nice coffee and cake.

The aim of these rides are to help build fitness and as such we are not the quickest group out there. The plan is to gradually increase the speed and difficulty of the rides over the coming months. We plan to add more rides for varying abilities once numbers increase to cover different fitness levels.

April 2012 Update

We are finally updating the website with more product details, product photo’s customer bikes/custom builds we have built and other news and events such as upcoming rides and our annual charity event.

As you have probably noticed, we have been a little slack over the last few months with keeping the website updated. Since moving into our new bigger premises (we had several problems which have almost driven us to early graves) we have been busy getting the shop filled with new stock and the layout how we want. We still have a long way to go but we are starting to look good. We have a few new brands added to our collection, keep an eye on the news section for details. We are also in the process of adding a few more exciting brands too, watch this space.

Over the next few weeks we will endeavour to get the website up to scratch, please bear with us and check back soon for new rides coming soon.

New Shop Coming Soon!

Hi all,

Over the Christmas period we will be moving to our new shop, formally the ‘Bridal Outlet’. Our telephone number will stay the same, only our address will change slightly, currently 15b we will now be Unit 8.

This opportunity has come a little early for us although we are very excited as the new shop is twice the size and right at the front of the shopping village facing the road. We hope this will drum up more business and help us grow our product range and services over the coming months.

Due to this move we have extended our Christmas closing hours until Monday the 9th January, although as usual we will most likely be available beforehand. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a visit.

We are available on the usual number during opening hours and can be contacted via email over the Christmas period.

We hope you all have a fantastic festive period and we look forward to seeing you in 2012 in our new premises.
