We will leave Bromley South Station at 10am and head off down to Thamesmead and on to Crossness Pumping Station  http://www.crossness.org.uk/ by the Thames.  There is a £5 charge to get in but I can promise you it worth it !  Here you will see one the biggest working steam (beam) engines in the world, and what’s more it will be working on this Sunday.  We”ll have lunch there so no problem with “bring your own” and then meander back to Bromley later in the afternoon when we are all done with the looking !
